News - Westwood student progresses to District Final of Rotary Young Chef competition.

MR 1Year 9 students Archie Bettany and Molly Riley recently competed at the Semi-Finals of the Rotary Young Chef awards vying for this culinary crown.

Facing increasingly difficult competition, each young chef replicated the dishes which they had designed, prepared and cooked at the earlier Westwood event.Archie Betany gen 4

After careful consideration of all entrants’ dishes and the ways in which the food, menus and tables were designed and displayed, the panel of discerning judges selected Archie to progress to the District Final which will be held on Wednesday 25 February at Wolstanton High School where he challenges 11 other students for a place in the prestigious Regional Finals.
