News - French Study Visit

12 students in Years 12 and 13 took part in the Normandy visit which was linked to the A2 Examination. Students had the opportunity to practise their French language and they discovered the architecture of the two main Normandy cities (Rouen and Le Havre). Students learnt about the history of Joan of Arc by visiting the museum in Rouen and also went to the Malraux Museum in Le Havre to learn about French cultural aspects and more specifically about impressionism. Students inevitably experienced French food and the lovely weather.
