Senior Team Maths Challenge at Keele University Wednesday  23rd November 2016

The UKMT Senior Team Challenges promote mathematical dexterity, teamwork and communication skills.

They also give pupils the opportunity to compete against pupils from other schools in their region.

The competition is broken down into three sections; the group problem solving round, cross number and the Shuttle round (relay).

This year’s team consisted of Emelia Hilton and Will Maynard from year 13 and Josh Davies and Emily Cook from year 12. The team did brilliantly, achieving 4th place, which is our joint best position and were the highest placed state school in the competition. Well done to all 4 students!
