News - Patient Participation Group

Are you aged 16 to 18?

Do you have an interest in local health services?

Would you like to get more involved?

There are already groups of patients at your local surgery who are doing just that. These groups are called Patient Participation Groups (PPGs). The PPG is made up of people from various backgrounds who share the same goal –  to help the practice to provide an accessible and responsive service that meets the needs of the patients.

YOU can be part of this, by either joining the PPG at your surgery (attend meetings) or become a virtual member (give your views by e-mail).

By joining your PPG you could…

  •    Help your practice make the best use of their resources
  •    Voice your opinion and know that you’re being heard
  •    Gain valuable experience which may help with future job or university applications

For more information just ask at reception when visiting your GP Practice, or use the link
